NAO YOSHIDA
幼少期からアートやクリエーションへの関心が強く、21歳の時ロサンゼルスへ渡る。現地のシネマ・メイクアップ・スクールでモンスターメイクやゾンビメイクなどの特殊メイクを学んだ後、次第に方向性がブラシュアップされ、クリエイションの中にビューティー（綺麗なもの）を表現することを欲するようになる。それがきっかけとなり、メイクアップアーティストとしての活動を開始。特殊メイクで培ったボディペイントやエアブラシといった知識をベースとしたアーティスティックかつ遊び心を感じるクリエイションを得意とし、ファッション誌や広告などさまざまなフィールドで活躍する。真面目に綺麗なものを作るよりも、ちょっとした違和感を探し、”美しい”という形容詞の解釈を広げることにつとめている。
Interested in drawing and painting since her childhood, Nao moved to Los Angeles at 21 years old. After she learned special make-up such as monster make-up and zombie make-up at a local cinema make-up school, she gradually found her direction and expressed beauty in her creations. Specialising in artistic and playful creations, she became active in various fields such as fashion magazines and advertisements. Rather than making something seriously beautiful, Nao seeks a bit of discomfort and broaden the interpretation of the adjective "beautiful”.
